Fannie Hillman + Associates Raises More Than $1,700 for New Hope for Kids
Fannie Hillman + Associates continued its 35-year commitment to support the local community with its annual Patio Party fundraiser this month, raising more than $1,700 for New Hope for Kids.
Despite the weather, several hundred Fannie Hillman Associates, clients, family, and friends attended the fundraiser for the Winter Park-based nonprofit organization that helps children and families cope with the loss of a loved one.
“Fannie Hillman + Associates is proud to invest in local businesses and nonprofits, like New Hope for Kids, through fundraisers throughout the year. It’s all part of our commitment through Hillman Cares to give back to the community that we call home,” said Scott Hillman, President of the award-winning Winter Park residential real estate agency.
Founded in 1996, New Hope for Kids helps the entire family through the grieving process, loss, or life-threatening illnesses. The organization’s second program, Wishes for Kids, grants up to 50 wishes per year for children up to age 19 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. To date, both programs have helped more than 3,000 families across Central Florida.
For the past 35 years, Hillman Cares has supported several local charities in the community, raising tens of thousands of dollars through the Annual Patio Party. Other benefactors have included The Foundation for Foster Children, the Winter Park Housing Authority, the Winter Park High School Foundation, the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, Community Food & Outreach Center of Central Florida and Habitat for Humanity.
